May Crowning

I hope this message finds you well and rested after the weekend. I know that things may feel stressed and uncertain now, but that is precisely why we need to continue to embrace our faith. This Friday, May 1st, we will celebrate our annual May Crowing of the Blessed Mother. Obviously, due to the current situation, we will adjust our ceremony, but your participation is still highly valued. We are asking for all students to have their flower with them during the online "Morning Prayers and Announcements" where we will take pics of the school. Fr. Benedict will have a special prayer for the moment and Fr Harrigan will be saying the 9am mass in the church as part of the Crowning.

After the mass, we are asking, for those who feel comfortable, to drive thru the school yard and stop alongside our Grotto where I will take your flowers and place them at the feet of our Blessed Mother, Mary. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

God bless,

Mr. Cordero

The STAR Connection

MSSE is launching "The Star Connection", a program to support those in need, from those who have. In this time of "Safer at Home", some within our school and parish community will find themselves in need of assistance, such as household items that such a long shut down can bring. I want you to spread the word and if you're in need, email me at I will act as a conduit to search out through email, calls and social media to locate the item you need. Those wishing to donate will deliver items to me at MSSE and I will then contact and handoff that item to those requesting. No need to worry about social distancing or contact with someone outside your circle. Together we can work as our Lord instructed and “...bear one another's burdens” (Gal 6:2).
When in need or to donate, email me at
