"Being the lead pre-kindergarten teacher has been a wonderful experience thus far. I am happy to provide children with a developmentally appropriate curriculum that enriches all of the developmental areas, including social, emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual. I have worked with children of all ages, but this age group (4-5 year olds) is by far the most fun! Every day is not only a learning experience for them, but also for me as a teacher. My favorite part about teaching preschool aged children is watching them grow and acquire new information and skills they never knew or had before. The reactions and joy on their faces after accomplishing something, whether it be writing their name or balancing a block on their head, is the most rewarding for me as a teacher. I love working at Mary Star Preschool, and hope to continue teaching children and better preparing them for Kindergarten."
