For Students

Student Council is open to students in Grades 7 and 8.  To run for a position on Student Council, students must meet the criteria for eligibility.  They must have a GPA of 2.0 or above, "Good" or "Outstanding" in behavior, and two recommendations from teachers.  Students must commit to monthly meetings and attendance at required events.  As leaders and examples of Christian Service, Student Council members lead our school in prayer, emcee our Christmas program and Variety Show, tour new families at Open House, assist at Back to School Night, plan the Junior High dances, and help with various activities throughout the school year.        Christian Service is integral to the mission of our school.  Our Schoolwide Learning Expections state that "we show our Catholic faith and strive for personal success."  To reach these goals, students must learn for the value of SERVICE.  Our Junior High (Grades 6, 7 and 8) has a Christian Service requirement.  We ask that they commit to completing a selection of activities that serve the Church, their family and the community.  Each student culminates the year with a presentation about his/her service and what he/she gained from the experience.  Kindgergarten through 5 Grade work as groups to complete service projects.
